Ugh...it's already larger than that and it still has a year left of construction.

The Tall Tower is going to be 2000 feet, the Burj's MINIMUM height is 2624 feet (with antenna). The official count now (actually since June...it hasn't been updated since) is 2087 feet and it still has a year left to completion and this is only counting that 160 floors are completed of the 200 estimate. The estimate is between 800m high to a maximum of 950 with the antenna and spiral roof; 950m = 3116 feet! The final value, or next update on it's height, is not being revealed until it's opening.

Look to the right of the link you just provided. 800-950 m (when completed). That's 2626-3116 feet. In June, which was the last official update it was at 626 meters, which is 2087 feet.

It's an architect's dream right now. Lots of money plus creative free will. One of my friends, an architect, is moving there in November. He's been there twice, and he says nothing compares to it. He's been to the Burj Al-Arab and Burj Dubai...lucky bastard.

Not to mention they created a man made island...yes you read it right .

I was watching a special on the discovery channel...its called palm island cause its suppose to look like a palm (looks more like a trilobite to me but whatever )...but still , how can you NOT think that is cool? And you can live on this island as well!

It looks like a fun place to visit.

Absolutely, thats why they're making the city so out of this world, they're trying to get a good tourism industry going...and its working, I hope to go to Dubai sometime in the near future
