The City of Angels Thread

Heres the address:

10801 W Pico Blvd (Cross Street: Westwood Boulevard)
Los Angeles, CA 90064-2105
(310) 475-3585

and a little something about the place:

The Scene
Imagine Dorothy's Kansas house dropped in front of the Westside Pavilion: white clapboards, plaid wallpaper and wood paneling. Suit-and-tie types, frat boys and families alike jostle for the 20 counter seats.

The Food
The Westside's best burger, doled out in a paper wrapper, draws the carnivorous masses from all over town. The signature steak burger is a juicy, medium-thick patty on a seedless bun piled high with all the fixings--mayo, sweet relish, crunchy dill pickles, crisp iceberg lettuce and a slab of half-melted Tillamook cheddar. For an extra wallop, the hickory burger comes drenched in barbecue sauce. For dessert, ignore the crusty counterman who deadpans, "Get anything but the apple pie." Plates are reserved for the cinnamon-tinged mainstay. Get it a la mode and the heated slice will slowly melt the rich, custardy vanilla ice cream.

I haven't been there in a while and it seems that they have changed their menu quite a bit, not sure what exactly is on it anymore gonna have to go and see just how much it has changed. But, as long as they still have that HIckory Burger and apple pie ala mode then i'm good.

Well, it seems that it rained last night and its raining now..I love the rain, it cleans off the streets and smells fresh after a good rain.

WTF? You go to SMC?

I was born in South Central, Los Angeles. Lieved there for 11 years then moved too Bell Gardens, then here to the desert. I use to hate it when people would role there eyes when I would say that. It's like they're saying "oh, how typical! A mexican-american from south central. I wonder if he ever got shot?"

:cmad: Growing up in south central wasn't that bad....bell gardens on the other hand

i was born in east los...
