The Crazy Ones

Damn it. I missed it tonight with the assumption that it was a re-run. I'll catch it on CBS.COM tomorrow.

Yeah, I almost thought it was a rerun too until I saw on TV Line that it was new. I'm not sure if January 2nd really makes sense as a return date, but if that's how CBS wants to play it... hopefully the numbers are still there.

Sadly, I was out on Michael J Fox early on. It didn't stick with me.

This show now officially replaces 30 Rock on my Thursday Night Sitcom watching list for me.

I think this was SMGs best episode. Everything she did was flawless.

Wow, they really let SMG cut loose last night, and it was great. I wonder if this becomes the inflection point episode where the show really finds its right tone (like the Banana Stand episode of Arrested Development or the Social Psychology episode of Community), because I thought it was wonderful.

This Episodes was a bit difficult for me to enjoy. Sure, Sarah was funny, but it always took me out of the Episode when you realize that none of them must have held a controller in their lives. Did anyone ever use the trigger button? What kind of lousy game has respawn points that lets players camp you and allow to kill you in 1 second intervals? And all the screens of Sarah shooting something, and she's just running down a street with no enemies in sight. The lousy graphics of this oh so awesome game. And not to forget, the complete cliche portrayal of game programmers who are socially awkward and barely have interactions with girls.

There was just too much for me to force to ignore, to truly enjoy it.

SMG was brilliant in the last ep, "Intervention is over b**ches!" :wooThe scenes between Simon and Sydney were great as usual, you can just tell how much fun they have with these roles.

Greatest outtake ever! :hrt:
Best part of the episode!

Oh and Nathan

Shaaaduuuupp.....:argh:

They did lousy research. They didn't know you shoot with trigger buttons, flipped through the book of gamer cliches and gave us a Call of Duty knockoff with terrible Wii graphics. It's their most half assed Episode. Live with the truth. :o

Nitpick much?

Obviously, the episode was intended for non-gamers to laugh at gamers, hence the poor configuration of the controllers, etc. The Sydney/Amanda full-mouth kiss in the outtakes was a peace offering to the gaming community over the laughs at their expense.

Awesome episode. The guys competing over the "Zen-phoria" account was great. SMG turning into a feral gamer was also gold.

I do want to get back to some character stuff. What's up with Linklater and SMG's characters? Still crushing? Indifferent? What? Also I think we need to meet Simon's wives or at least SMG's mother.

Simon tearing apart the doll in front of the terrified children = :lmao:

Simon wasn't sick tonight.

The man is immortal.

Andrew going into the quarantine room to get Sydney's phone. :funny:

"Osama bin hackin" is what made me laugh the most.

Andrew going into the quarantine room to get Sydney's phone. :funny:
That gone with the wind stare then in the quarantine room between Sydney and Andrew then immediate disinfection of the phone tho! :funny:

I loved the job interview. Man, Amanda must have the most carefree smile in the world.
