I think about buying one but it's just a though at the moment. I like Maine Coon but they are not many breeders in France and they sold quickly. I also have concerns about buying a breed cat and let him go outside fearing that he would be abducted.

They wouldn't get on with each other? I'd have to think about that as my first 2 were introduced at the same time (well 1 day apart) but this time I will have to introduce them all more carefully.

Skye wouldn't care but Nellie is hyper. She'd try to play or chase and would probably do so roughly. My older cat had the basement to hide in, but I'd rather have a younger cat have the run of the house. I wouldn't want an outdoor cat, they tend to get run over on my street.

For indoor cats you can get one of those cat towers. Good for indoor activity/play and different places to chill out and also a good hiding place from dogs.

It is a concern nowadays unfortunately. Someone tried to take my friend's dog once.

Don't get a purebred animal. Get a pet from a shelter instead.

Exactly. You can even go ahead of time, get preapproved, and tell them ahead of time what you want. They'll call you if something good comes in.

yeah that was how we got our last dog we were looking for a mini schnauzer and they called us when one came in cute little guy he was white which was very rare for them

I miss him we got him as a puppy and unlike MOST schnauzers we decided to keep the long tail and floppy ears but gave him the standard schnauzer haircut. sadly not long after we got him my mom passed away and he was SO used to having somebody be home he got separation anxiety when me and my dad were at work (I worked nights he worked days) and he tore up carpet and linoleum in the kitchen and we had to get rid of him.
