Discuss Jolly Jonah, Betty Brant, Robbie Robertson and Eddie Brock. What's the likelihood we see The Bugle in ASM2? ASM3? ASM4???

The Daily Bugle's definitely something they've been building up to, but the viral websites and the little small appearances of the Bugle logos and newspapers in the movie itself will likely be all that's written for ASM2. Peter will probably start working under JJJ and meeting the rest of them in ASM3.

If the Daily Bugle doesn't fit in the movie, then there is no reason to shove it in just to have it. We still have two more films (or more) after TASM2, so there is plenty of time to introduce Jameson and his staff in this franchise.

Maybe the events of TASM2 will lead to Jameson's hatred for Spider-Man.

If JJJ is introduced later on in this series, they really need to show how misguided he can be, and use him as a central character with the Scorpion being the villain.

JJJ popping up in a few scenes as comedic relief like the last time around is the wrong way to go.

Especially with how all the movies try to give the villain a connection to Peter Parker personally. They have almost always fabricated that link with straying from the source material. The Scorpion may not have a personal link to Peter Parker, but JJJ sure does. And he has different opinions of Parker and Spider-Man. It could be a nice twist to that motif Avi Arad swears is the crucial element to Spider-Man films.

The more I think about it the more excited I am for the possibilities of a story like that.

I personally think he has been pretty successful in bringing the early Marvel movies to life, even if I dont agree with all the choices he has made. But I would assume most people dislike him due to Spider-Man 3.

They should probably introduce the bugle around 3 or 4. Aunt May suddenly has a condition and Peter fears for her health. Maybe they can do some sort of cameo or reference in 2, with spiderman saving characters like Robbie.

I hope JJJ is the original from the rami series! he was excellent
