The Dallas thread.

I visit Dallas maybe once or twice a year. Last summer I was down there hanging out with a friend who moved there for work/school. We ate at 'Dick's', where the waiters treat you like an ass while you're there...

...it was a lot like the Hype.

It's been about ten years since I was last in Dallas. I had some friends that lived there for awhile. Had a pretty good time checking the town out. The urban sprawl of that city is unreal. I fondly remember getting damn near blackout drunk on margaritas at a Mexican place called The Blue Goose Cantina. They had good food, too. After that, we went to a pretty cool club called "Trees" and saw Juliana Hatfield perform. I somewhat remember making out with some skank during the concert. We watched Juliana kick over her drummer's kit together at the end of her set. How romantic. Anyway, pretty fun town if you know some locals who can show you around.
