I can't stand that freaking Batman price. I applaud DC for not pricing everything at $4 and double shipping half of them, but I sear, they price their Annuals and crap like this way too high. Yeah, page count-wise it makes sense, but I'd rather see the 64 pages split into two 32 page comics so I don't have to drop another book for the month. Stupid crap.

Other than that, pretty good week. Especially excited for Arkham War.

Batman might be my last issue(again). I've noticed that once Snyder's title goes into crossover mode, the quality takes a significant dip. But I've been digging this arc so far, despite some quibbles I've got with it.

I'm only checking out the first issue of Superman/Wonder Woman because I'm digging Charles Soule on Swamp Thing. I find the concept of Superman and Wonder Woman being together pretty obvious and boring. And I certainly hope that this doesn't cut into what Azzarello's been doing with Diana and Orion in Wonder Woman. Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to see the direction that goes in.
