If you don’t buy into that concept at least a little bit, then The Fourth Kind will leave you as cold as Paranormal Activity did for people who didn’t go along for the ride with that film. However if you let it get in your head, I think you’ll find that The Fourth Kind is even more effective at freaking you out and causing you some nervousness after you turn off the last light at night and head off to bed.

Ninja Assassin comes out on the 25th![]()

I think this film is really *****ing brilliant. It's one of the best alien films I've seen in a theatre in a while (not exaggerating, besides "District 9") and I am a HUGE alien fan and am very picky with alien films and this one is definately my new favourite.
I believe it raises the bar. Not only is it great, but it's got really intense and creepy moments. I was so drawn into the film I did not want it to end. It's very rare when a film ends and I'm still thinking about it because it left me feeling scared, and this one did just that! As much as I love aliens.. this movie makes me terrified of them. Oh man, I can't wait to watch this again!

http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/18099An article over at Newsvine reports that Universal Pictures has agreed to pay $20,000 to the Alaska Press Club to settle complaints about fake news archives used to promote the movie The Fourth Kind, the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reported. You can click the link for more on that story OR click here for something far more interesting. The Fourth Kind mixed in celebrity reenactments with "supposed" real footage from a town's documented series of abductions.
Saw the film last night, and it really has me wondering whether the actual events ever took place. The film uses aliases for everyone, and there are no records of Dr. Abigail Tyler.
I wish there were some definite answers, but alas, it was a good movie and kept me interested along for the ride.
One interesting fact is that there are no trees in the real Nome, Alaska. (Pictures at link below)
