I guess you weren't too upset when Bruce got the use of his legs back, eh?

:o

No, because, Bruce is ****ing Batman, it was silly to ever think he'd stay paralyzed, but with Babs it's different. She's been paralyzed and developed into an even better character since the damn 80's.

If you don't see how offensive it is, then that's YOUR fault.

Simmer down Bill. I'm just teasing. But it is fun to see people lose their minds over some of their favorite characters. Kinda like I did when Hal was turned into a foul betrayer who murdered Kilowog in cold blood.

:yay:

There's difference in making Hal a murderer and making a handicap role model walk again though. A huge one.

One is offensive. One is just ****ting on a character like comic book creators do all the time.

It's like if say Northstar became straight, but at the same time Marvel made Steve Rogers shoot Tony Stark in the head point blank. One is just a terrible storyline decision, the other is offensive.

I suppose making someone NOT gay is worse than making them a murderer. That's like saying that killing a gay man is worse than killing a man.

It's all bad. And offensive.

That last part made no sense or had any sort of direct connection with what I said, but you know whatever.

I dont think its offensive. She wasnt always crippled so they re taking her back to her older identity. And even if she was, why cant people see that perhaps there's hope in the horizon (unfortunately not for all) with Babs regaining the use of her legs? Simone said that she read about people getting back some feeling in their legs and did that with Babs receiving countless mails from people saying that it gave them hope for their cases. So why cant Babs get healed in world where everything is possible, where people dont even stay dead for god's sake?

I liked Oracle but they were right that she was a deus ex machina solving everyone's problems and making Batman less of a detective because she was handling things for him.

So yeah i prefer Stephanie as Batgirl but Babs could be fun too, so why not give her a try? She's a good character she has a lot to offer. You cant change a homosexual person (so doing that in comics IS offensive), but perhaps you can cure disability, if not in our world yet, then surely in a world like the DCU. So why exactly is it offensive?
harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban. the credits are modeled after the marauders map, which shows where everybody in hogwarts, looks like sombody was gettin' lucky lol.
Lol! Thanks!
