I always spell it Spiderman, the hyphen is the correct way, but it makes me think that if you hyphenated Spiderman than you can arbitrarily replace words because the hyphen says you can. Spider-Ham springs to mind. I think Spiderman has been around long enough that he can have it spelled that way. He's earned it.
