Hotlinking
Hotlinking is when you directly post an image from a website. Many websites see this as you “stealing” their bandwidth and will sometimes retaliate by automatically replacing the intended image with another when it’s posted. These images range from simple caution messages to disturbingly graphic images. If you choose to hotlink and your image is replaced by a graphic/pornographic/inappropriate image, you will be banned. This can be easily avoided by re-hosting all images at a site such as ImageShack or PhotoBucket.


And what's worse...one of the people who just recently made a post in here, and the picture was removed by the source and the source put up a note about hotlinking, was infracted for hotlinking in the past.
