Haven't seen it. It just reminded me of Secret War when Pete was talking to DD about how he's going crazy and will eventually wind up only in his mask in times square yelling about power and responsibility.

Basically in the issue, he goes up against a d level baddie that can manipulate fabric. Long story short, his costume is ripped apart and he has to take down the rest of the gang in nothing but webbed up underwear and his mask.
