Is that the couple that always plays pranks on each other? if it is, that's pretty tame compared to their other pranks they have pulled.

After almost 20 years, they are still looking more real than Lizard in ASM.

To be fair to ASM, very few CGIs match Jurassic Park's or Terminator 2, if any.

Realism =/ Believable

The CGI, IMO, is much more cleaner and detailed in TASM.

Dinosaurs, we know what they looked like for the most part and we have real life animal references for.

You can't compare that to something that never existed and we have no reference to...and with a humanoid design, you run into an Uncanny Valley territory. We're less likely to accept the design/look of something the more human and expressive it is.

But I get what you're trying to say---I'm just saying, it's not a fair comparison or on the whole, a true statement in general. Even in general, IMO, I've seen the JP trilogy recently and 80% of the CGI in Jurassic Park has not aged all that well.

If you want a more fair comparison, I probably would compare the CGI of the Jurassic Park dinosaurs to the CGI of the bengal tiger for The Life of Pi or some of the animals from Rise of the Planet of the Apes...
