Hal, wayward prince and reluctant heir to the English throne, has turned his back on royal life and is living among the people. But when his tyrannical father dies, Hal is crowned King Henry V and is forced to embrace the life he had previously tried to escape. Now the young king must navigate the palace politics, chaos and war his father left behind, and the emotional strings of his past life—including his relationship with his closest friend and mentor, the ageing alcoholic knight, John Falstaff.

Starring Timothée Chalamet, Joel Edgerton, Sean Harris, Ben Mendelsohn, Robert Pattinson, and Lily-Rose Depp, the film is released in select U.S. and UK cinemas, as well as on Netflix globally, later this autumn.

I’m there for Pattinson and Mendelsohn’s glorious locks but I’m not digging Edgerton as sexy Falstaff.

The view count of this trailer, man.

This looks pretty solid.

Yeah this looks really good, but after how Outlaw King turned out I don't want my expectations to be too high for it. It's hard not too though with this much talent in the cast.

“... vibrant alien seductivity.”

Is that anything like being maestoso?

I thought this was great. Just excellent performances all around, but it really is Chalamet and Pattinson that steal the show even though the latter isn't even in it all that much. Both of those guys have such big futures ahead of them though. From a technical and visual standpoint it's pretty damn impressive as well. I doubt it it gets any real Oscar recognition, but the performances here really deserve some awards attention IMO.

8/10

I’m getting serious about Pattinson playing both Batman and Joker now.

While watching him in this all I could think of is how great this guy could have been as The Joker or The Riddler in a Batman movie. I still think he will kill it as Bruce Wayne though since he really is that versatile of an actor, but he brings such a creepy and menacing presence to this movie that it's hard not seeing the full potential of him playing some kind of iconic villain. Oh well it is what it is I guess.

Really liked Chalamet in the role, didn't like Pattinson.
