Drama The Life of Chuck - Mike Flanagan Adapts King Again

Just heard about this today and I'm definitely in for it.

Mike is a menace.

I knew Hamill would be playing the grandfather, but I think I had assumed Heather Langenkamp would be the grandmother.

Eager to see some post-Netflix Flanagan. The guy has quite a CV by now, and has assembled a great cast here.

Impressive cast in this thing.

Also, never really thought about it before but I think Hiddleston would crush Flagg/Marten/Walter. He could MAYBE play Roland too but he seems a little too polished for that. I like the suggestion of Rahul Kohli for that role though.

It’ll be nice having an award worthy Stephen King movie again.

Flanagan might be 3 for 3 up there with Frank Darabont with these King adaptations.

I just read the Vanity Fair article, and I really want to see this, like now
Feels incredibly important in this moment we're living in, and like it would connect nicely to the idea of Joy that the Harris campaign is pushing as its theme

Any news of when a trailer might drop?

Well it won’t have trouble finding a distributor now. Though I hope they go for the one offering a wide theatrical release and not necessarily just the streamer that pays the most. Flanagan has stuck mostly to streaming and this could be a huge crowd pleaser.

Neon about to force A24 to up their game.

Still waiting for the eventual war between A24 and Neon stans.
