The New Joker Blogs: Scott McClure's Vision Rebooted

As most of you know, a man named Scott McClure created a YouTube series called "The Joker Blogs" back in 2008 and ran for 19 episodes until 2010

An ENORMOUS group of people have decided to "reboot" McClure's idea to a more all around Joker type of feel but still keep it within a Ledger-like area. The story and plot are going to be COMPLETELY different for a fresh new experience along with characters that you didnt see in the original series.

Credits to Scott McClure for the original Joker blogs, DC Comics for all characters in relation to Batman, Bob Kane for creating Batman, and Warner Brothers Entertainment for "The Dark Knight".

I've actually been a fan of the Joker blogs for a couple of years now, and found it to be one the greatest fan films I've ever seen; I'm not quite sure why these guys would want to restart it, but if they're aiming for a new approach I won't argue!!!!

I actually might have a few ideas on the matter though; usually I'd talk here, but with a more private thinker like myself I kind of like to p.m. Hit me up if you want to talk on how this could go because if there's anyway I might be able to contribute to this, that would be fantastic.

I'm confused, Why not just do something of your own? I mean if your taking to time to write scripts, create props, costumes make up and make up appliances why not use all that energy on a original Batman idea?

...you have no idea how much I changed this. You're thinking it's going to copycat everything Scott did with different people but actually I've done some MAJOR changes to everything

But it's not your idea, you've just taken some other guys idea and changed it. I get that your young and as film makers we all start somewhere, but theres endless possibilities with the Joker. Do something from scratch, something you thought of yourself, scripted yourself that came from just you.

For the record, your ideas in another thread of a mask film or Ace ventura film are much better and will get you much more recognition and praise. Doing a reboot of some other guys thing (as much as you may love it) aint the way to go.

Use your energy and resources on the other ideas (that are yours) you'll be more proud of it and more praised in the long run.
