I agree with you on this being unnecessary, but just because you haven't seen one and no one on a comic book form has been able to convince you doesn't mean they don't exist. I know the burden of proof is on the believer, but this is simply one of those things that you can't prove, and we'll all just have to wait until death to figure out the answer.
