Astro Bot looks fun.
As a whole though, that was lukewarm for a 30 minute presentation.
We finally got the highly-anticipated and long-rumored PlayStation State of Play for May 2024 yesterday, but it didn't get a great response.

Hmm it seems like everytime Sony does a State of Play presentation, they get some Pr and I see a lot of people doing live reactions. In the future, they really need to put more of a show, instead of just compiling several games that will be out soon or in 5 years. People watch these livestreams for a reason, and the last time they really wowed me was during a livestream, when they revealed Horizon 2 and a bunch of exclusives. The Playstation 5 reveal was also huge. I remember staying late just to see all the announcements. With this latest one, I watched it in the afternoon and my lukewarm expectations were right.
Like who would have guessed, an Astro Bot reveal would be the best reveal here, when years ago, Astro 2020, was just merely a smaller part of a big line up.
I don't understand remastering Until Dawn when its already playable in PS5. More pc ports would only excite those who don't have a Playstation and don't plan to get a Ps5. Who really watches State of Play to know the next PC port? Concord is a livestream service/online-only game and my initial thought (from the moment it was announced before) was I'm going to save some money in the future, since it won't be added to my waitlist. The game looks very similar to a lot of online games out there. It looks very generic, maybe it would sell, but its just not for me.
This would have been a good time to reveal the Ps5 pro, a Spider-Man 2 DLC, and the next game for Bend Studio and Naughty Dog but nope. I don't think its ever gonna be more exciting as the other shows that Playstation studios are supposed to be taking part of, this summer as well.
