If I’m a mother of 2 I doubt I’m caring about things like framerates or ray tracing, no matter how well marketed it is, because that’s honestly nerdy stuff that only diehards really care about.

Whoever she is buying the console for will either care about that stuff or will be experiencing FOMO. Between gamers, game journalism, YouTube, FOMO, and word of mouth plenty of people will care about the nerdy stuff or know enough about it to understand how it contributes to good graphics and quality of gameplay.

I’m starting to think we’ve reached a peak in terms of how good games can look because nothing much wowed me about this.

Budget and talent (and personally for me, style) are becoming bigger factors than tech alone.

I'll go for the console with the disc drive since it'll be backwards compatible with PS4 and I'm old school like that, but looking at the list of games, I'll definitely be getting Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

But I do have to roll my eyes at yet another remastered GTA V. Seriously, Rockstar, it's been 7 years. Time to stop living in the past.

Kena reminds me a tad of a Beyond Good & Evil sequel I wish got made rather than that disappointing direction Ubisoft turned it into. Kena could be the new Jade.

I'm sure it will too, but I only own three digital games on PS4 compared to over 20 games on disc for the system.

I really hope they bring it out in black cause even though the white looks great...it'll stick out like a sore thumb in my media section lol. And I think the white brings out its vertical flaws way to much.

I liked the conference format and hope all future conferences follow suit. I’m not too keen on the console’s look but I guess I just like a sleek, flat, stackable, black box. Man of simple tastes (on this front at least).
