For those that have never played it, the original MGS is probably the greatest game of it's type. It still holds up.

I think I'm going to play XVI, but I have to say the self-seriousness is kind of putting me off. That and the lack of color outside of the gorgeous magic.

Never played a MGS game in my life but I might give the collection a try to see what the fuss is about.
