Playstation The Official Playstation 5 Thread

Sony has apparently invested serious money in the studio. This is going to get interesting. :funny:

Tracks with their other well planned investments.

Ahh, Shadow Wick. It was tough to keep track of what Sega was actually releasing in their Sonic Direct, other than its going to be a year of Shadow.

I do find it interesting that Nintendo is suing based on patent infringement and not copyright. Curious what that could be.

Aloy always coming out too close to a legendary game. :o

I already have the originals for Sega CD and PS but these are the best place to start for new players even more than the remake of the remake on GameBoy Advance and PSP/phones. The storyline is very strong - even more so in the second game - and the relationships between the characters there are still among the best in a video game.

The gameplay is turn based with a positional battle system that the player doesn’t have too much control over. It’s simple but accessible. Good music too.

Me: Ghost of Tsushima was kind of disappointing and I don't see myself buying it at launch.

Me: Buying Ghost of Yotei day one.
I enjoyed Ghost of Tsushima a lot. Jin wasn't deep but the gameplay and world were enough to keep me playing and this looks like they are improving on it further.

I will forever miss OG Peter. I loved that first game, and grew so attached to that incarnation that the recast really did impact my enjoyment of the franchise going forward. SM2 really came and went for me too, underwhelming despite the excellent swinging.
yeah I feel you. and I'll never buy their reasoning of how the new model is supposed evoke emotions better. even if it's not Tom Holland, they picked a model who appears very closely to the MCU Peter Parker in the video game render.

It’s one of the options to compete better with much of what’s out there. Not saying they will definitely go for this particular option as they want to have their cake and eat it, but they will
be looking at ways to make sure they’re are no more Concords with no player base at launch.
I didn't get to watch the State of play today. I wonder if there was any game that looked like it was supposed to be a rebound from Concord. most of the attention I'm seeing is for the GoT sequel
