I forgot Firesprite is the VR studio. I think that one might be also in danger, as nothing is really happening with VR for several years now.
 
65 million is still a Far Cry from PS4's sales.

With lower competition from Xbox, and the PS5 having an extra year (8 years instead of 7) before the successor comes out, it doesn't sound great.

Hoping for new ips. After playing Days Gone, Ghost of and Death Stranding in 2020 to 2021, I thought there would have been more new ips from Sony by 2024. I had no interest with Returnal. As much as I enjoy sequels, there's still something different when experiencing a franchise in the making for the first time. Its like stepping on a new world.
 
There are price cuts though.

Also i opened my ps4 yesterday and there was a notification from Sony in the home screen, that I could trade my ps4 for a ps5 pro, and get a $150 discount for the ps5 pro.

no there aren't. there are deals and discounts every year, but there haven't been any official permanent price cuts to the Ps5 since it launched in 2020.

they had similar promos when the Ps4 pro launched in 2016.

Sony already owns Crunchyroll. If they get their hands on Kadokawa, they would have another big chunk when it comes to anime.

Hooray for consolidation...
