well gonna get a Pro model this weekend my dad gave me 500 for xmas that I never got around to using it, I was gonna use it towards my new laptop but I did not have it with me when I bought it I just paid for the laptop with my card. so getting a PS5 Pro for only 200 ain't to bad I am still mad I have to pay the extra 80 bucks for the disc drive .

Damn, Sony Bayonetta 2'ed Bloodborne 2.

I can see most PS5 games sticking to the $70 price range but I can promise you that GTA 6 will be at least $80.

I would make an exception for GTA, only because there should have been more GTA games in the last ten years.

Mario though?

Switch 2 was revealed, this is the perfect opportunity to get rid of the exclusive chains, and have Sony release Ratchet and Clank, God of War and the Spider-Man games on Switch 2

Age of Empires II is releasing on the PS5 early next month. I had to pre-order, I loved this game growing up. This Definitive Edition has a ton of new material too. It's another Xbox Game Studios project dropping on the Playstation, no complaints from me.

Reads like AI-generated word salad.

Weird name aside, teamLFG claim that their first game is “a team-based action game that draws inspiration from fighting games, platformers, MOBAs, life sims, and frog-type games,” leading to a large number of comments on social media and gaming forums asking what “frog-type” is. Not a great start, eh?

But that’s not the only issue players have. The smorgasbord of genres thrown into the mix for teamLFG’s first game has left a lot of people unimpressed.

“Does that scream live service slop to anyone else?” a fan asked on Reddit. “That sounds like a wild combination to press into one game,” a ResetEra user wrote.

Sony just announced its financial forecast for the next year, and it’s expecting to be impacted by tariffs to the tune of 100 billion yen (about $680 million). To compensate, the company says it’s considering options including moving manufacturing to the US and increasing prices for consumers.

Speaking to investors during the company’s earnings call, Sony CFO Lin Tao confirmed that the company is considering “passing on” the price of tariffs to consumers in order to mitigate the impact on its bottom line. Tao didn’t mention the PS5 by name though, and it’s possible that Sony could try to protect pricing on its console through increases elsewhere in its electronics business. Sony has already increased the price of the PS5 this year, but only in the UK, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

The PS5 did get a call out from CEO Hiroki Totoki when discussing the possibility of moving manufacturing to the US to avoid the brunt of Donald Trump’s tariffs. He admitted that the console “can be produced locally,” and that it would be “an efficient strategy” that “has to be considered going forward.”

Jade Raymond, the founder and head of Sony Group Corp.’s game developer Haven Studios, has left the company.

PlayStation leadership didn’t give Haven staff a reason for her departure, but it came several weeks after an external test of Haven’s first game, the online shooter Fairgames, according to people with knowledge of the matter. Some developers at Haven were concerned about how the game was received and its progress, said the people, who asked not to be identified because they aren’t authorized to speak publicly.

“Jade Raymond has been an incredible partner and visionary force in founding Haven Studios,” a PlayStation spokesperson said in a statement. “We are deeply grateful for her leadership and contributions, and we wish her all the best in her next chapter.”

The spokesperson added that the company is “committed to supporting Haven Studios and excited to continue the journey” with new co-studio heads Marie-Eve Danis and Pierre-François Sapinski.

Title changed from Fairgame$ to Fairgames.
