Earlier today, three people were arrested with multiple loaded long-range guns and handguns, knives, ballistic vests, a camouflage helmet and night goggles at the entrance to the Holland Tunnel by the New Jersey police. The “self-styled vigilantes” were on a mission. NBC:

One of the suspects allegedly told authorities the trio was en route to Queens to try to save a friend who is on heroin and being held against her will. Police are looking for the possible woman in Queens.

Two men in their 50s and a woman in her 20s from Pennsylvania were taken into custody after their very noticeable Dodge was pulled over for a cracked windshield and the police noticed the first of many weapons.

The vehicle had decals for Tonka, Monster energy drinks and several logos for Higher Ground Tactical, a gun range in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, about two hours away. Along with the cache of weapons, police confiscated a red bag with the words “Firearms Instructor” and a container with “Shoot Your Local Heroin Dealer” in neon green.

A look at the Higher Ground Tactical Facebook page suggests several connections to the incident. John Cramsey, who is listed as Senior Operator of the range, has posted several times on the business’s Facebook page. In photos set to public, Cramsey appears to pose next to a similar truck.

Cramsey also posts repeatedly about his daughter Alexandria “Lexii” Cramsey who passed away in February at the age of 20, sometimes including her “It Gets Better” video. An under-construction foundation website set up in Lexii Cramsey’s name provides resources for people with “loved ones lost due to heroin abuse.” In between pro-gun memes and “good guy with a gun” inspirational quotes, Cramsey has posted Good Samaritan PSAs and made sad and somewhat ominous posts that allude to his growing frustration.

Other public images included captions such as, on June 12, “Who else out there is ready to show these Dealers of Death that we are Madder than HELL and we’re NOT GUNNA TAKE IT NO MORE ! Enjoy your Day ****ers..... Cause I’m about to **** UP Your Night ! Me and who’s Army ? Y’all just Stay Tuned and I’ll Introduce you to them later on.” A post made 14 hours ago reads, “Today is the day that marks the 4 Month Anniversary of the loss of my sweet baby girl. For as much as its worth .... I have been fighting the Demon that stole you from me with everything I got ....Please give me the Strength to continue taking this fight to the Evil.”

A Port Authority police spokesperson told the Daily News, “The agency does not believe the incident is terrorism-related.”

Not gonna lie, having some dudes going hardcore against the heroin dealers of the world would not make me lose any sleep. Maybe they should have went with a less conspicuous truck?

Dude, now this guy is boss! Hope the cops didn't catch him, because this guy I can get behind.

OFFS... THIS is what they used to blend in and not call attention to themselves?!?...

That's all we need in NYC, three gun toting dudes trying to shoot up drug dealers. I'm sure the collateral damage would be minimal.

Well, if he is anything like the Punisher in season 2 of DD I would give him my vote of confidence. But seeing the truck they rolled out in me thinks he's not that savvy.

let's become professional vigilantes and deal out some sweet justice

okay what kind of car should we drive something inconspicuous or...?

nah let's go with some neon green and big letters identifying who we are

I'm sure Arrow_22 was able to handle what these guy were going to do.

What I like is it looks like the turtle van lol.

We don't need the type of people who would drive that truck on their "mission" having possession of so many deadly weapons, thanks.

I am from New York. I lived through the worst of the city's history.

No. Just no. There is nothing constructive or useful these obvious idiots have to offer. There is nothing to "get behind". It's terrible that one of these people lost a daughter to addiction but that doesn't make this in any way a reasonable response in any way shape or form. This is stupidity plain and simple. As I seem to often need to remind people.... You know there was an underground organization in this country that enforced "Justice" and defended "decent" fellow citizens from the threats they perceived to be rising up in this country. The used violence to solve societies problems as well as intimidation, all without the sanction of the legitimate law, since in their eyes the government was ineffective in combating the threats they perceived. This group even wore costumes to hide their identities.

I'm talking about the Klu Klux Klan.

Vigilante justice has no place in civil society.

Except the Punisher is all about surgical percision and I can't imagine these clowns watching their backgrounds during a firefight.

You were there during the crash of '29? Hot damn.

I would take Wall Street investors jumping off buildings over the three guys shot in front of my family's house during the height of the crack era, the serial rapist that attempted to attack my mother and the two break ins of our house that happened when we were on vacation in upstate New York thank you very much.

They aren't the Punisher because the Punisher wouldn't have been caught.

Could these guys have left any more evidence? Jeez. They didn't even try to conceal their plan. I'm glad they were caught

Maybe getting caught was part of their plan all along? That is exactly what Frank would do. :o

Drug dealers use numerous lookouts but I'm sure they wouldn't detect a neon green monster truck with three hillbillies cruising through the Queens projects.

Punisher In real life? A couple old ammo-sexuals lucky they are obviously white so they didn't get blown away.

I never understood gun people and soldiers celebrating the character, it's strange considering he has murderous PTSD, especially that Sniper guy that got killed. Frank is messed up, you don't want to be him or emulate him.

I understand the appeal of the Punisher but common sense tells you hunting criminals would last long with countless gangs, crime lords, and cops looking for you not to mention the FBI.

Sure you might get lucky a kill a few drug dealers but criminal organizations and law enforcement would put a bounty on your head meaning you'd have to leave the city and hide in the mountains for years.

I don't think murdering drug dealers is really going to improve things much. Career criminals aren't going to just stop dealing drugs because they might get killed by vigilantes. It is no bigger risk to them than being killed by rival dealers or gangs.

The IRA shooting drug dealers in the knee caps and threatening to kill them if they don't stop didn't wipe out the drug trade in Derry.

The thing about the Punisher is that he is usually a meticulous that scopes out his targets and plans how he will dispatch them with military precision. These chumps look they will probably shoot up some neighborhood and cause more damage than they were looking to prevent.

Losing loved ones to drugs must be awful but this wannabe hero stuff would not of ended well.

It's all about supply and demand. As long as there's demand for something, someone will always be there to supply it.

Since the dude in charge lost his daughter to heroin addiction I suspect he's not thinking rationally. I don't know about the other guys he was with.
