Seems it's at least a thought. Not sure if want. The potential to make a better film is there, but the music from the original film is a favorite of mine.

Eh, I wouldn't mind this actually. But just make this another adaptation of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW and NOT a remake of THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW. I mean, don't even watch the other film.

Get someone to rewrite the actual stage script and adapt it to film. Iron out some of the plot holes. Get a kick ass cast, and don't try to mimic any of the movies arrangements. There are hundreds of different Rocky Horror stage productions, and each production has a variation on the arrangements. Do something new.

Yeah. The more I think about it. If they worked out the plot kinks that the original film had, got a kick ass cast, used the stage show as a template, and recorded some good music to go along with it? I'd go with it.

There'll probably still be a dozen Tim Curry die-hards (and don't get me wrong he's the best thing about the original film.), who will condemn this before it even really gets a chance.
