Minka Kelly. Leighton Meester. Aly Michalka. They're all hot. So, if there's sex and nudity then it's worth watching.

None of those actors are terrible. People just like to hate on them because they don't like the TV shows they're on.

Never said you did, just a general point about the overall attitude to attractive young actresses on this site, and JMC clearly thinks Meester can act and from many of his posts I've read he's not exactly a soft touch.

I dont know. I think both Meester and Kelly have done a fine job with whats been given to them. Meester's supposed to play a stuck up prissy rich girl and she plays a stuck up prissy rich girl. Kelly's supposed to play a bubbly cheerleader dealing with tragedy (at least in the episodes of FNL that I've seen so far), and she plays a bubbly cheerleader dealing with tragedy. It's not exactly like they've been given Shakespearian characters and they completely dropped the ball...

I can't vouch for Kelly but Meester is fantastic on the very silly Gossip Girl. I'm not saying that she's going to win a bucket load of oscars anytime soon but she can act.

More like a sledge hammer. t: Seriously, Meester I think has potential granted she's not pigeon holed into playing stereotypes, she's actually the best thing on Gossip Girl (although I haven't watched it for ages now) I've also seen her on a couple of other shows which makes me think the girl has chops granted the role has got some weight. I don't think Single White Female 2.0 is gonna be it though. To be honest, I would have preferred her as Carol Ferris over Blake Lively.
