It's really nice to see someone take their stories and make them come alive the way you have, because you really have a telent for filmmaking. I really like the use of black and white in some scenes. The only drawbacks I found were in the usual in low budget films which are the dialogue and acting (especially in the actress who played Renee, who came off looking real hollow).

I agree that some of the performances could have been a bit better, but for the most part I am really happy with how it turned out. It was basically our tribute to the old time movie serials of the past.
