Sequels The Spider-Man 4 Villains Eliminations (round 2)

Discussion in 'The Daily Bugle' started by Otto Octavius, Nov 4, 2007.

  1. The rules are quite simple, you take away one point from one name and add it to the one you want until only one name remains.

This round is an eliminations round for the what two villains you wan't to see most in SM-4

Anyone can play and consecutive posts are legal, but players must always wait 60 minutes in between votes to give other players a chance to play.

When you play, please quote the player who last played and then adjust for your move. When you are finished, please double check your score. Sometimes two players play at the same time and whoever came in last will have to adjust their score because of it.

Though simple, this can at times, be a competitive game. In order to keep things civil and fun for both winners and losers, I am going to ask that players refrain from character bashing and /or character flag waving. Just remember that one person's most hated character is probably someone else's fave. Let's play with repect for everyone. I also ask that players refrain from soliciting others to join one team or another in this game, by open post or by your signature links. It comes across as too aggressive, as though a player is rallying others to "gang up" on another player who may be less inclined to do the same. Especially so when done in other threads. Let's keep the game here in the game thread. If you wish to ask others to join the game, by all means do so, the more the merrier, but not specifically to join up with one team or another. Let's keep this from developing into something political or causing factions. It's just a game. Let's keep it simple. Thanks.

I think the problem is that the villain pairings are very random and arbitrary. Plus, it's obvious that the villain pairing to go with in Spider-Man 4 is Lizard and Kraven. I might want Vulture, but who said I want a Vulture/Carnage package? Who said that even makes sense?

    Exactly.
Not only are some of the pairings very random, but we all know Lizard and Kraven is going to win, seeing as they are the villains that most people want.

  8. well, sorry I just wanted to see if any one wanted to do it like that

No need to apologize. It's an interesting idea. I can't think of any way to make it work, and I have thought. Everything I've come up with is too unwieldy.

  10. I understand. You're right it is weird, my bad
