The Statue Suggestion Thread

Spider-man should have one hanging in Times Square.

I say they go all-out and build a JLA headquarters in NY as a museum for Superheroes. Then they can build many statues within.

How about statues of real people who've done important things?

Most of them have statues already.

Though a statue of Einstein that dwarfs the Colossus of Rhodes would be pretty cool. Especially if we build it where Hiroshima and Nagasaki stood.

ThatGuyWithTheGlasses should have a BIG Statue on Chicago's Pier.
Also, a Statue of Harry Potter In King Cross Station right near the "Platform 9 3/4" sign"

Not big enough!! :argh:
that statue is bigger than you think.

Theres a project to have a decent sized memorial to MLK jr. built in washington, I heard it was approved but needed funding.

Also, I'm totally cool with fictional characters getting statues as long as its in service to some ideal that they represent or a local identity kind of thing.

Doc Holliday was born in my hometown. I think there should be a statue of him in front of the courthouse pointing a six shooter at the 2nd floor window.
