In Video Game History?

this can be anything..impossible / cheap bosses, unfair deaths, retcons, titles, anything...

I have a few :

the retcon of Ken from a white guy to 3/4 jap..not that I have a problem with japanese peeps, but I like the ken/ryu rivalry/friendship to be like east & west coast, ya know?

the amazing spider-man (Ljn, gameboy)
the whole thing is crap...

any thoughts?

Shouldn't this be in the video game section?

Ubisoft for churning out Imaginez Petz Monkeyz while they shelve Beyond Good & Evil 2. :argh:

Revolving spike ladder in God of War.

ET for Atari, specifically making more copies of the game than Ataris in home.

32X, Genesis was a great console, why did they have to introduce that half assed add-on, when the Sega CD was already not getting the software support it needed.

Ghosbusters for the NES. The whole game sucks, especially when you have to constantly tap A to move up the stairs and avoid ghosts, but the end screen is especially awful

EDIT: Double post

I blind bought it used. The game was literally broken. You fought 2 giant rats for a boss fight. And in the 3rd level I literally was stuck running in circles and could not progress or start over before I got to that room.

2. Super Mario Galaxy.
Toward the end of the game one of the last stars is you using gyroscopic? tilt controls monkeyball style to roll on a platform. I died 100+ times because of how unresponsive and lagged the controlls were.

3. Atari- E.T.
Not only was 1 guy only givin 6 weeks to complete the game. Atari manufactured 4 million copies, sold 1.2m or around that and then dumped the unsold surplus into a landfill in Arizona. Completing what is still considered to this day the ultimate monumental EPIC FAIL!

The alternative GTA San Andreas ending: "it was all a dream"

kidding :o

More likely you just sucked because I never died more than 5 times on each of those types of levels.

But you prooved the justice of our culture. :(

The AVGN of Ghostbusters is hilarious, if you've never seen it.

Yea, I never died but once or twice on those levels. I thought they were quite fun.

Uh.

I'm assuming that pic implies the shooting controls, as well as the enemy movement (fast mother ****ers, in cut scenes at least) of that particular game.
