I'm years late to this party, and I do apologize for that, but BL introduced me to the greatness that is Malcolm Tucker and I've been like a ****ing coke-head for this show ever since. I've gotten around to watching most of the episodes on youtube (I want region 1 DVDs, BBC. Now.) and I'm shocked at how much I dig the rest of the cast as well. Glenn and Olly's banter, the psychotic Steve Fleming, Malcolm's relationships with both Hugh and Nicola... All great stuff. I'd hate to rush perfection, but I really hope series 4 comes sooner rather than later.

Nothing, huh? :o

Good news for fans of biting political satire – The Thick of It is returning to British television screens this autumn for a fourth series, with seven new 30-minute episodes scheduled for broadcast on BBC2.

I liked the new The Thick of It: Coalition trailer - BBC Two although not enough Malcolm Tucker :woot:

Just watched it..... I agree. Not nearly enough Malcolm. :o:up:

So there was a series collection that was supposed to be released later next month, but Amazon took off the date.

Loved the new episode.

Every line was pure gold. Armando Iannucci was on fire.

Best lines

Phil to Fergus and Adam: "You're basically a couple of homeless guys we invited to Christmas dinner. Don't b**** if we don't let you carve the turkey."

Terri to Glenn: "You look like a week-old party balloon. I just don't want you ending up as one of those 'before he turned the gun on himself' guys."

Calling th new spin doctor DOCTOR ROBOTNIC.

Looking forward to the return of the Caledonian mafia

No Malcolm in the first episode? :csad:

Great episode.

Malcom completes his master coup ousting Nicola.

I just watched a clip of Malcolm referring to Star Wars as "the film about the space hairdresser and the cowboy" where "he ****ing ****ed his sister" and am instantly sad that I have yet to watch a full episode of the new series.

"You are not me, Ollie. And you never will be me. I knew Malcolm F. Tucker, sir. And you are no Malcolm ****ing Tucker. You're not even ****ing Manchester's top Malcolm Tucker tribute band."

God, this show...

"He's done it. That chinless horse-fiddler. Our ****lustrious PM has opened Pandora's ****ing Box and curled a massive steamer right into it."

Seriously, the dialogue on this show is outstanding.

I really hope news of Capaldi being cast as the new Doctor will draw attention to this series. Everyone needs to be aware of Malcolm F. Tucker. EVERYONE.
