Sci-Fi The X-Files - 6 Part Event Series

Absolutely. They're the only ones left that matter outside of Mulder and Scully.

Which reminds me... I'm sad that there's no chance for The Lone Gunmen to come back. And Krycek! I love that guy.

I missed the latter couple of seasons, why can't the Lone Gunmen be involved?

Episodes I liked:

Ice, Episode 1x08
Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man, Episode 4x07
Synchrony, Episode 4x19
Triangle, Episode 6x03
First Person Shooter, Episode 7x13

I liked the episodes involving Alex Krycek, I think he added dynamism to the show.

What was the name of the 7 foot guy in a suit with the crazy jaw line?

The alien bounty hunter

A binge watch of the X-Files is difficult, because it's 200 episodes and some of the bad episodes are truly bad.

Oh, that will be difficult then!

Read the latest comments by Chris Carter,

he's not sure how he's gonna address the 2012 alien invasion that never happened LOL.
It'll be interesting.

Did you guys watch the series recently? How do you remember everything? Was so long ago that I've forgotten probably 80% of the episodes.

Oh yes, thanks. I don't own or have never rewatched any of the X-Files so my memory is sketchy. Looks like a complete binge watch will be in order at some point soon. Is X-Files on Netflix?

I take the bad with the good. And X-Files is on netflix. It's been edited to where there is no text on the screen though

Why doesn't he just make this mini-series be set in 2012?

Thanks! I'll watch every episode, too much of a completionist to skip anything. Wonder why the text has been removed. Is that a thing with Netflix or just X-Files?

Just Netflix. They supposedly removed it for international audiences who don't read English from what I heard

I wouldn't say it was "ahead of its time", but it was funny.

I would, especially considering how it used the internet and cell phones so often. And having the storyarc mythology episodes while still having "monster" of the week episodes.

In other aspects the show really was ahead of its time. I mean it really set a template for how prime time drama could push it to the limits.
