Wow, so I realize every show thats been announced or teased people keep saying "Put it on Netflix, so it can be good like Daredevil." . It's rsther overwhelming, the most recent case of this was the rumored Star Wars live action show. All I saw in the comments was "It should be on Netflix. Put it on Netflix, make it good like Jessica Jones on Netflix" . This show along with Marvels Netflix lineup has set a bar. Do you agree?

Sure. Netflix is a different format to both movies and normal TV series, and because of that, producers (or writers, or directors... all of the above? not sure) have the opportunity to play with new story structures and techniques. And Daredevil did it really well.

I guess it depends on one's taste. Havent' seen "Jessica Jones" yet, but "Daredevil" is superb.

"House of Cards" sucks imo. And I'm a Kevin Spacey fan!

I think the word you meant was bar. Daredevil set a bar, that'd be hard to top.

It's not for everyone. I wasn't a fan either, couldn't get past the 4th episode, but I can see why some many people love it.

That's what really key is for the Netflix model. Unlike networks they have a much more loose scheduling. With network you have to produce so many weekly episodes have premieres and finals at certain months. While they do produce more content, the quality suffers from the deadlines. Arrow and Flash would be a million times better if they had more time to just work on the dialog (man the dialog sucks).

One of the things I recall hear about the making of House of Cards when they were shopping for a studio, every tv network said "sounds good, but we want you tomake this many more episodes per season?" and when they spoke to Netflix they ask "Sounds Good. How many episodes do you want?" And I think right now that's what's giving Netflix the edge on content. Sure not everything is gonna be amazing but their structure benefits creators a lot more and the result is more quality focused material. You have much better chance of making something great.

100%

imo, Daredevil and Jessica Jones have been the best of all the recent comic based series.

I prefer Daredevil to the CW shows because the I generally find the dialogue to be a lot more natural and organic. On CW...it's just...weird. It makes me feel like I'm watching a goofy TV show.

Feel like Netflix is cementing themselves as the new HBO with original and licensed content. The movies still have yet to really get going, but the TV shows are off the hook right now. My wife and I have found ourselves addicted to each show we've started. Even Marco Polo, which got off to such a slow start, finally rewarded the patience it demanded with a riveting last 3-4 episodes of its first season.

I don't know... I think we had things like Mad Men, Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Game Of Thrones, Homeland, House Of Cards, Sons Of Anarchy, Justified... Well before DD. SO... I can't agree with the OP other than that DD was amazingly well cast, written and produced especially considering it's budget in comparison to those other shows. But such quality serialized entertainment even with genre material was around before Marvel's Netflix shows.
