Anybody here hate them and cover their ears? I just HATE being startled by the thunder. Funny thing is, I love seeing thunderstorms in movies, etc, but I hate when it's happening in my city.

once i was looking out the window and there was a lighting strike that was 50 ft away from me, and the light almost blinded me
