Ladies what are your favorite beauty products and why?
Actually, men too, considering Ive been hearing facial moisturizer is now popular with guys.
Also your secret beauty tips!

I cant even calculate how much I spend on this crap every month so I figured this would be a good thread to save money by trying stuff I know works for atleast one person ;)

Ive got three that I recommend for trial.:meow:

1. Avon 'Clearskin invigorating cleansing scrub' (the only thing from avon I buy) My skin cant live without it.

2. 'Lash Perfection' by Max Factor. It has an incredible new brush that has revolutionized mascara for me.

3. Clinique skin system (bar, lotion and toner) type 2

Secret beauty tip..
Always splash your face with ice cold water 10 times after washing with warm.
Always rinse conditioner out of your hair with cold water.

I like soap.

I like Noxema for cleaning the skin. Jergens for softening my hands. Other than that, I just pick the colours and smells that appeal to me at the moment of shopping.

secret tipDon't rub your face with the towel when drying it, gently pat/dab it dry

I aways wanted Noxema to work for me because I love the way it smells and feels :( But my skin just regenerates so fast that my cleansing regime has to be a little harsher than normal. Im just on of those people that has really fast growing hair and nails :(

I do use Noxema for shaving though.

I like Clinique lipsticks as well.

Ive never tried them, how do they smell and taste?
I hate the lipsticks that smell and taste like chemicals :(

They are creamy and i haven't noticed a taste. The only thing i don't love is they aren't long lasting but I find the long lasting kind seem to dry my lips so i go for the more moisturizing kind like clinique. I wear very little make up but i do like lipstick.

I think that's what I do when I get done taking a shower. Dab/pat my face dry.

I interested in what products I can use when I get older, to make my face look young. Besides Botox and plastic surgery. I do know that drinking grape juice makes your neck look younger. Yes, I am guy, but I would like to know woman secrets in terms of looking younger. That way when I get old, I won't look that bad. Eating healthy and exercising helps too.

I know this thread is for chicks, but I just wanted to let you all know that I can give you a facial if you're in town.

I encourage all the women in my life to use beauty products.

It rubs the lotion on the skin, or else it gets the hose again.
It rubs the lotion on the skin, it does this whenever it's told.

Well there is this new product ive been hearing about its micro derm abrasion but for home use. I think Susan Lucci has some info-mercials about it but there is also a drugstore copy of it by neutrogena I think. Ive been thinking about getting it.

enterthemadness, the best way to slow down the aging process is to take vitamins and use sunblock daily. You should go to a clinque counter and ask them what products they have for men. I got my ex some really nice shaving cream (he has really sensitive skin) from Clinique and now he wont shave with anything else. :p

Other than that wrinkles on men is sexy ;)

Secret tip With water, not Beer.
Actually rinsing your hair in beer makes it very shiney :p

Ya, ive noticed that too. Id rather just re-apply than wear the long lasting stuff. I havent been able to find any that actually feel good.

Funny, I've always thought about making this sort of thread but figured it wouldn't be taken seriously lol.

Hmm, let's see...one product that I just started using that I LOVE is Burt's Bees Garden Tomato toner. That and their lip balms are fabulous!

As a regular part of my weight training, I eat a very high volume of protein. While this is good for building muscle, it can also necessitate frequent restroom visits and result in a bit of rawness in the sensitive tissue of the expulsionary area of the lower intestinal tract. It wasn't until I got married that I discovered the wonders of Summer's Eve Feminine Wash for relieving dry, chaffed skin back there, thanks to my wife. A bit of a disturbing subject to raise, I realize, but this little miracle in the form of a blue gel gently cleanses and restores natural hydration to irritated, sensitive tissue like no other.

Just trying to contribute something I thought might be useful. At least it's a real tip instead offering to give the women facials when they're in town. :oldrazz:

I can't tell you how relieved I was when you did NOT offer me the same thing when I was in Seattle last year. :meow:
