Yeah i definately thought that it was Philip Seymour Hoffman,then i read it was Jack Black. Hearing that about Tom Cruise makes me want to see this movie so bad. This looks hilarious and Zoolander was hilarious so I definately think that Stiller will make this funny.

Hopefully, if people take the time to examine the context, it won't be an issue. But then again this is "people" that we're talking about, now. A single person, you can trust a person to approach this rationally, whereas people will piss and moan before even seeing the slightest bit of actual footage. The appearance of Downey Jr.'s character in, for all intents and purposes, "blackface", as it's explained in the film, will be meant as a satirical jab and not any kind of endorsement of a form of entertainment that has offended and stereotyped an entire racial group.

i agree 120%. sadly as you said a person will stop and think. it's going to cause major problems i think. it'll be interesting to see the debate on it though
