Hopefully they give Karai a bigger role in the 2nd one, She was underused in the 1st.

What I wanna see is Karai actually fight the Turtles, Her taking charge of the Foot while the Shredder is gone, And also, It needs to address her lineage.

Karai is my favorite female TMNT character, and I thought that the actress was decent with what they gave her do (which wasn't much). I was extremely disappointed that they didn't give her anything really interesting or important to do. Hopefully she comes back in the sequel and gets some actual cool stuff to do. Heck, have her take on the mantle of the Shredder and go after the Turtles in retaliation for what happened in the first movie. Oh and give her at least one cool martial arts fight scene. And her connection to the Shredder should also be addressed as well.

The only problem with having Karai taking over the mantle, is that it would come out of left field. They haven't established her close relationship to the Shredder at all. Sure, we fans know of Karai's background, but in the context of the movie, she's basically just a more interesting looking Foot Soldier. And she isn't really all that capable either, as she gets just tossed aside by the Turtles, like the rest of the Foot.

I love Karai. I agree that it needs to be established that she is The Shredder's daughter. I'd love to see her fight the Turtles and go one on one with Leo and lead the Foot while Shredder is recuperating from his fall
