Aight... I really don't think this news is worthy of its own thread, but if I didn't post it, some n00b would have, so here ya go...

In the March 26-April 1, 2007 issue of TV Guide, "The Sexy Issue":

Sexiest Crimefigter:
67% Tom Welling, from SMALLVILLE
Runners-up:
Kiefer Sutherland, 24
Anthony LaPaglia, Without a Trace
David Caruso, CSI: Miami

Sexiest Villain:
35% Michael Rosenbaum from SMALLVILLE
Runners-up:
Tricia Helfer, Battlestar Galactica
Vanessa Williams, Ugly Betty
Chad Lowe, 24

I'm guessing the "nobody knows [insert cast member name here] from SMALLVILLE" argument doesn't hold much water these days. ;) :D :p

wow and Tricia Helfer was in playboy

I looked around at the other sites for SV, and there's no mention of this yet - and I received the issue this MORNING!!! I'm kinda stunned. Seriously, they beat out Battlestar Galactica, CSI, and 24! Um.... hello?!!! :wow:

James hasn't been updating the TW.org site and hasn't replied to emails, but I think it will make at least one site tonight.

;) :D

Although, it would be helpful if I had a link to the list on their site.. I can't post images on tw.org.

*pouts*

I can't find the article.

Well who is voting in the polls? I don't know TV guide- what's the target demographic?

I'm not sure it was from a poll.

I hadn't seen one anyway, but that doesn't mean there wasn't one.

*shrug*

So, was this a poll, Pat?

I don't know if the article is even on-line. It's in their print issue.

If it helps, this is the image of TW that they used:

And this is the one of Rosey:

As to who voted or how the winners were determined, who cares? LOL They're in TV Guide, and they won their respective categories. It's reality confirmation for those who watch the show, and great A&M for those who haven't. ;)

Thanks, I put it up on tw.org and I credited you.

Awesome.

It's so great to see our guys getting some recognition.

gotta love anything that gets smallville recognition to a larger demographic

Thanks, Pat!

Congrats Tom! I love the pic they chose, it's one of my faves images of Tom.

LOL good for Tom. although I will point out, that the 3 guys he went up against are all old enough to be his father. :)

BTW I just found out that Anthony Lapaglia was an Aussie and I was floored by it. He has the most convincing American accent I've ever heard, plus you really dont think of people with Italian last names being from Oz.

Yeah, amazing isn't it? His accent is very slight, I think he's spent a lot of time in the US.

I thought I'd mentioned that to you in IM once. Hmmm.... maybe not.

Half of my school was Italian. I think there are more Italians in Oz than there are in Italy. :cwink:
