Twilight Princess Unravels!

I guess I'll have to cancel my preorder at GameStop.

I've talked to the people at GameStop, and they have said that this second Wii version is only rumor. It could prove to be true, but they haven't heard anything about it.

I preordered mine months ago, thinking it would be the only version of the game. I would hate to cancel it.

EDIT: So it appears that the GC version is superior. Any thoughts?

Really not worried. We've already heard that the game is 80% complete due to tech issues... so this isn't a problem. Besides, the demo was merely that... a demo... put together specifically for E3. It would've been better if it was cut from the game.

I myself Pre Ordered Twilight Princess for the Cube Months ago way back in November in fact. There would have to be some really big differences for the Wii Version (if there is one) for me to upgrade my Pre Order

I myself am still unsure about the Wii version. It sounds cool, but I think Nintendo just made the controls gimmicky to fit the Wii to and put on that to help strengthen the launch. Nonetheless, I will be playing Twilight Princess on my Wii on launch day, regardless of which version.

This is another game I'm eager to get. I'm not going to pass judgement now on which version I will buy because a lot could change. That demo was unreliable because it was just that--a demo. I'll wait for the final reviews of both versions on IGN before I decide.

Though we already knew about this -as did anyone who checked the facts page of Twilight Princess over the past year- the change of seasons is being re-hyped by some E3 footage.
"There will be changing seasons throughout the game. Whether this is triggered by something, like in Oracle of Seasons, or is part of the cycle like day and night, is not yet known."

New information or not, the fishing demo at E3 2006 did provide some nice view on the changing seasons. From top to bottom: spring, summer and fall.

I'll be upgrading to the Wii version, more so since I'll have the option. Fishing with the Wiimote just looks like good ol' Sega Bass Fishing fun.

If your planning on buying the Wii, why not get the upgraded version. I know I am. I'm getting Zelda and Metroid at launch! That's like gamer heaven.

To fully beat Majora's Mask, getting all the masks, ect. It DOES take a while. The game lasted me quite a while because I kept going back to it, leaving, ect. I refused to finish it without having all the masks.

Those screen shots are absolutlety gorgeous. I want it so bad. They've teased me for far too long

As for MM, I've gotten pretty far along. At the last temple thing, and I have a good deal of masks. It's been a long time since I've played it. It just doesn't hold me like OoT does. OoT is by far the best game I've ever beaten.

I haven't either. I never really cared for it. The time travel thing, although interesting, makes the game feel like a chore.

I found Majora's Mask to be the easiest Zelda game to finish.... and I have yet to beat A Link to the Past..... Ganon keeps killing me.....
