Ugly People

You could be beautiful one day. And then be ugly the next. I dont think there will ever be a universal beauty, or ugly. Who are you, you, and you, and I to judge? Like it was said before, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder."

I have a friend who may be ugly according to conventional standards, and it is something that could be easily seen in a photograph. However, if you met her and saw the ways she moves and came to know her personality, you would realize she is a pretty girl. I am not just talking about the typical "beauty is in the personality" cliche, but that a way a person MOVES also affects their attractiveness. You can look at a person in a photo and say "ugly" but seeing the person in real life might drastically change your mind.

So many "ugly" people would be good looking if they had a different posture.

I mean, we could very well make it so that only very attractive people pro-create, but that won't mean to say the human race would be any better off for it. What about attributes like intelligence and so forth?

One problem I see in society is vanity and celebrity worship. Too many people buying celeb magazines and obsessing with their looks. People unnaturally trying to stay young looking into their 40s and 50s with cosmetic surgery and crap.

I agree. I once saw a photo of a girl before I met her, and I thought she was only average looking. Then I met her and fell in love with her.

Important to remember that cameras are stupid machines: they only capture light, nothing else.

I rather a hot girl be humble, but that seems to be something ugly girls are. So what makes the perfect girl????? the ugly duckling who turns into the beautiful swan when she gets older!!!!! that IS the perfect girl! A girl who was HIDEOUS in high school, but then aged, matured, fixed herself up and is now HOT HOT HOT after college. So she'll remember what it was like to be ridiculed, overlooked and she'll be humble and not conceited.

My ex girlfriend was like this actually. I saw some old pics of her when she was in school, and yeah, not very attractive at all. But now she's pretty and hot. And you're right, more humble for it.

And I know this other girl who is very hot, and she's the worst attention seeking ****e ever.

Men are partially to blame though. Maybe even in particular so called self titled "nice" guys that lavish girls with compliments and attention. Gives girls big heads.
