Even that isn't guaranteed to produce a good-looking child. Some features just do not mix well with others, even if individually they are considered appealing. It's a genetic crapshoot. Some people get all the best looking features of their parents combined, while another might get all their worst physical features combined.
Funny you bring this up because a good friend of mine brought his sister to sit in on our animation class a few days back. Now, I really like my friend, he's a great guy, but lookwise, he looks like a young Peter Jackson. Overweight, long greasy hair, scruffy, wears practically the same thing everday. But I don't care, he's a good guy. So I run into him in the elevator and he introduces me to his sister who's standing next to him. I would NEVER think they were related. She was gorgeous. I just kept staring at the both of them all class trying to think of one feature they had in common. They had dark skin. Dark hair. Because they're Italian. That's about it. But now I'm even happier that he's my friend because now I want to get to know his sister better.
Pics or it didn't happen.I would consider myself a good looking girl, but my brother, not so much (a good looking guy, that is). Besides me being taller than him, we look pretty similar, but his attitude makes him look unattractive. He shuffles his feet, looks down, avoids eye contacts, hunches over, is shy, and is a little overweight. If he was more outgoing, he would seem nicer looking.

I second that.![]()
