I've been really, REALLY trying to get the "make up" look with this figure. His original paint application left a lot to be desired, not to mention that it had a "Y" cut in his mouth. I posted my work in progress a few months back and the reception was good, only that I went up above the brows and down below the cheeks to far with the black. After thinking about it I too began to notice that it was very "meh" looking. I enjoy "repainting" figures and after my last task (completely repainting movie Megs) my first paint job was unacceptable. I also repainted his hair, it was originally dull dark green. I threw some light brown on top of that and then painted over it with a light green and a neon green.

I went to work, I must have painted, let set, stripped and painted again at least 20+ times before I got the look I wanted.

Anyway, here he is. I'm happy with the new paint application...enough so that I can finally set him up on my Bat-Shelf as a finished product.

Not bad. It's a huge improvement over your first paint app.

Thanks.

I notice that some how...a form of glitter got on his jacket there....Odd.

Joker was picking out a birthday card for his mom, and one of them had glitter on it.

That's how it usually happens to me.

lol.

Probably.

The more I look at it the more I think I may have went a tiny bit to wide on the one side of his face their with the red paint. Maybe it's just me and I'm being overly picky on my work but...hmmm.

yeah its much better then the packaged. but i just wish his hair sculpt was different.

Yeah, I don't mind the hair sculpt....but it needs some work. It makes customizing a jail cell Joker a lot harder.

guy over at fwoosh did a bit more when it comes to it

he actually made extra poseable strands of hair which really really help the sculpt and looks
