Watch Dogs 2

I wasn't very impressed with it. The driving was terrible. The plot cliche, the characters dull, etc.

I remember when people said "cars drive like boats", and I didn't know what that meant. Then I played it.

Yes, yes they do.

You also can't shoot and drive. Which, really, in this day and age, should be a given for any GTA clone.
The lack of shooting while driving was intentional; they wanted you to focus on hacking the environment while in vehicles, which I personally found far more enjoyable. People hate on the game for being a gta clone, but then hate on the game for doing something different than gta, lol. It's kinda ridiculous.

So with the news of Assassin's Creed possibly taking a break in 2016, there reports also claimed that Watch Dogs would finally be getting a sequel, scheduled for release this year.

If this is indeed true, what are you guys looking forward to in a sequel? What would make it better, in terms of perception and the actual experience, than the first game?

Next-gen graphics, similar to what we got in the reveal trailer.

I really want them to bring back Aiden and Clara, but at the same time, their stories are complete and I don't know what else is there to explore.

I was satisfied with the main campaign. Really nice neo-noir. But optional stuff and side-quests were typical Ubisoft stuff. Hunt down 100500 nonames, kill a bunch of dummies, light up towers, destroy comms. Ubisoft better look at CDPR and craft really nice and unique side quests.

a better protagonist. Aiden was too dry for me and completely forgettable. They could have made him synonymous with Watch_Dogs but he failed to make an impression.

Ordinary family man. I heard similar complaints about Joel in The Last of Us. Lacks personality...

But I like his default outfit and voice actor.

I liked Aiden and his voice was great. I had no problem with him.

I'd like to see a Miami/Las Vegas kind of setting. Hacking the cameras at a casino when you're playing Texas Hold Em', just like you were able to do in the first one.

Also, I hope there's much more fun stuff to do. In GTA5, there was endless stuff like Golf, Tennis and Hunting to name a few.

I don't want this to turn into a Grand Theft Auto game, but having those little side things to do makes the game much more enjoyable.

Isn't the rumor that this would be set in San Francisco?

I enjoyed the first Watch Dogs a lot but the driving was HORRENDOUS, i mean really bad lol.

Eh? I thought it was good. Gameplay-wise, the game was really smooth and responsive.

Well that was the only major trouble i've had with the game, the driving controls felt really laggy and jarring tbh, everything else was great though, good game over all.

I can deal with San Francisco, but New Jersey? I'm assuming you mean the New York area?
I highly doubt they'll do Jersey, or even a NY area, for one big reason. The Division.

There's no way Ubisoft would put out two separate games set in similar locations. Maybe, i they were thinking of a shared universe, but it still wouldn't make sense.

South Park and Ghost Recon: Wildlands also due out by March 2017.

Ubisoft has confirmed it will launch “the next installment of Watch Dogs,” as well as a “new high-potential AAA brand with strong digital live services” before March 2017.

In addition to these titles, the company also plans to release For Honor, South Park: The Fractured but Whole, and Ghost Recon: Wildlands before March 2017.

The company will not, however, release a new Assassin’s Creed title in 2016. In a message on the Ubisoft blog, the Assassin’s Creed team said it is “stepping back and reexamining” the franchise” this year, “to evolve the game mechanics and to make sure we’re delivering on the promise of Assassin’s Creed offering unique and memorable gameplay experiences that make history everyone’s playground.” The team will have more news to share “soon.”

Earlier this year, a report surfaced claiming an Egypt-set Assassin’s Creed code-named Empire will miss 2016, and in its place, a San Francisco-set Watch Dogs 2 will launch later this year.

Currently playing the original game again. The ideas in this are great just some execution needs to be improved, driving being the main one and some mission structure needs improvement, but it has some good moments still.

Will keep tabs on the sequel info thats for sure.

I guarantee WD2 is gonna blow people away. Just like AC2 did. Cant wait.

When AC2 came out, there was no Wild Hunt to compare it to.

Fix the damn driving this time, it was horrendously bad originally.
