Watchmen featured on MTV's SPOILERS 2/21 at 8PM

uh....so uh...how do you guys like the prison scene?

Eh,i'm just a little annoyed by the fact that its about one panel in the comic, and in the movie it seems boring and to go on too long.

I gotta admit, seeing watchmen characters kick some butt is cool to see...but I think it would have been a better if dan would be gasping for air afterwards. It looks like they are used to kick ass on a daily basis.

not a bad special was nice to see the prison fight but on a side note i will be a happy man if i never have to see anything from land of the lost again.

VC that was 1 thing that annoyed me 1 panel that's it 2 retired superheroes in a maximum security prison with a riot ensuing and they only meet about 2 inmates just seemed not logical lol

Prison fight isnt great but you have to remember thats where everything goes down with Big Figure and Rorchach wich is GREAT!!!

man both the host asked some of the dumbest questions... God I hate MTV. And when Goode gave an intelligent answer to er dumb question she seemed rediculously lost.

i know nothing about watchemn. i liked 300. i think it was a very good visual movie.

but this prison scene was very ''cliche'' to me. slow motion here..........slow motion there. slow motion everywheeeeeeeeeeere . fights looked in noooo wwaaay like this is a big budget movie.

yea MTV is really bad, it's for the people who follow every trend and fad and are not capable of having a single independent thought, hardcore music sucks ass now that MTV has watered it down with their attention towards crappy ass bands like MCR and Fall Out Boy

At least we can see the action unlike those two Batman films. Learn how to film a simple fight scene Nolan.

P.S.

I love those Batman films.

The chic with the raccoon eyes was annoying.Prison break scene semed a bit stiff.

The context of the scene is not to be a breathtaking action sequence in a blockbuster. Its actually quite a character-driven scene where the two characters revisit their past careers. That's why they smile at the start and the end. Its a release.

So no, its not meant to look like a typical fight in a big budget movie. That would be a bad thing.

I do know your posting style, dark_b, and how you analyse films based on studio decisions (I don't have a problem with it) and I know you're an intelligent person. But I suggest you do some research on what Watchmen is about so you can get a better view of what this movie is trying to do.

I know I am already getting tired of endless complaints about the slow motion again and again and again and again...
Some of you say it so much, just put it in your damn sig...

I kinda like the slo-mo especially when nite owl delivers that final blow in the scene

I'm just so sick of hearing that complaint. It is like people have been rehearsing for months to say this, without any merit to the context of the scenes.

You really didn't see what was going on in the TDK fight scenes? I thought that Nolan completely changed his approach for that film and slowed down the camera in most scenes.

Prison Scene looks cool to me in Watchmen. But agree that Dan especially looks to be in too good shape/form.

Don't dare to watch the MTV clip, even if I appriaciate that a person uploaded it to youtube for us. MTV is so shallow(not that it ever were brilliant) and idiotic these days. Even the music sucks for the most part.

I liked the clip, specially the part where Nite-Owl glides out of his ship and the part where they smile at each other before starting to kick some a$$.
However I would have preferred something a little grittier like that corridor fight scene in "Old Boy". It was beautiful to look at but maybe sometimes felt a little fake and choregraphed.
Anyway, I'm there on opening day.

That corridor fight scene in Old boy was pretty over the top (i.e. Unrealistic). I prefer what Zack did with the style of the fight scenes, looks more comic book.

Amen brother

oh the irony

i never liked MCR
they should of picked a band like breaking benjamin, linkin park, hell even 3 doors down to remake that song

or you know...they could have done the "crazy!" thing by just paying Dylans

im saying if the studio had to do a remake then it would be those that i mentioned, i wanted the original in the ending credits too
