Director of Stalingrad is helming, and calling it Odysseus, after the title character.

Hope it's better than the Clash of the Titans remake. There's never been a good or really even decent film version of The Odyssey, just a campy TV miniseries in the '90s with Armand Assante.

10 years ago, I really wanted to see this done as a sequel to "Troy", with Sean Bean returning as Odysseus, but I don't think that's the route they're going to go with this.

Every Greek mythology movie in the past few years has been doinky. I don't have very high hopes for this unless the trailers look good/it gets a lot of good reviews.
