50 Cent Makes Live Bet on Universal

    Universal Pictures has acquired spec Live Bet, a heist film set in the New York underworld, with Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson set to star.

    Variety reports that brothers Charley and Vlas Parlapanides wrote the script, while Mary Parent and Scott Stuber will produce along with Chris Lighty and Jackson through his G Unit Films.

    Jackson also is attached to star in U's prison boxing film, The Dance
