WB Turning Leonardo Da Vinci into a Hero

They should've just gone and give the Holmes treatment to Conan Doyle's other big character, Professor Challenger. You could do all sort of outrageous adventure/science/fantasy things with him, and it'll still be in character.
That said, this could be great, but most likely will be a hopeless disaster.

I saw a movie once called "Quest of the Delta Knights" that featured Da Vinci as one of the hero characters.



It wound up on Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Ah man, I thought I was going to be the only person who thought about that, haha. Never saw the movie on its own but it was one of my favorite MST3K episodes.

But it is Leonardo Da Vinci...not Indiana Jones...or Sherlock Holmes.

Oh well, I wonder if Hollywood realizes they just greenlit the first summer action movie about a gay man. I have my doubts.

Even if he was gay in real life, it's all but guaranteed he won't bee in the movie. He'll be given some random love interest.

This sounds a bit much like Van Helsing to me. And yet, I'm totally up for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
