I've always had this idea on how to do a mix of organic and mechanical.

Like, have him actually be able to generate webbing, but he'd never be able to control it at all (shoot it in a straight line). So he'd need the webshooters to provide accuracy and multiple different types of web, if that makes any sense.

Having read through this thread, it seems like Spider-Man 4 would've done something like this?

i def like we are keeping mechnical shooters. And i would perfer to have them under suit like the comics do. But that is a little nitpick there. Overall i really do hope this go around we get to see a variety of web fluids for different reasons and to finally play with the oh crap i ran out of webbing stuff none of the films have ever gotten into that yet.

I don't like the new web-shooters all that much. I could get behind them if they were smaller and red so they'd blend in with the suit like TASM2.

One thing I do wanna see still is a small mist come out of the web-shooters when Spidey shoots his web. I thought it was nice touch in TASM series, and it just makes it that much more authentic. Can't remember if they did this in the original trilogy or not.

I absolutely want to see them carry over the web-slinging from TASM2. Say what you will about the film, but damn web-slinging never looked so good, it is definitely one of things that film got right.

I am sure we will see shooter change and look different over time. Heck we don't even know what his prototype suit shooters may look like.
