That's not what it looked like in the movie... is it?

Nah, this was it

I find it funny how it looks like it is flipping us off.

I'm not sure of the comparisons it's getting though.

A turtle? There is no shell or reptilian like skin.

A dog? No hair or whiskers.

Even more odd is that something appears to be wrapped around the right forearm. This creature seems to be incapable of wrapping something around it's own arm which means something else, something human, had to have done it.

Also, I'm not sure is that is a beak or a fully remove nose or snout.

IF, if all the hair were completely removed, it were tremendously overfed, and the nose were removed it could be a boxer or pit bull.

My guess is that it is an abused land animal, probably a dog, but we won't know anything until looked at by the pro's.

Wow, really bizarre. It almost looks like it has fingers. It looks very pitiful :csad:

looks to me like some sort turtle specie, with out a shell... but we all know there attached... soooooo

It's an abused dog that has been overfed, stripped of all hair, and had it's nose/snout removed.

But that isn't how it would look right? I don't even want to think what a ''true" snoutless dog would look like. :(

Yeah, pretty much. I got a buddy who collects dog snouts and the faceless dogs look pretty much like that. You should really hear the bark once the snout is removed, sounds more human than dog.

:( That's just awful. Who the hell even collects dog snouts? That's an odd hobby. Nothing against your buddy or anything, just seems like a sorta odd thing to collect.

Wtf? That's horrible. And illegal, and horrible.

*shudders* That is completely awful. :csad:

That definetly has to be some sort of an abused animal someone cruely disfigured.

you know... other then the top "beak" the bottom part do look like dog teeth, and the eyes do look like a dogs.. so maybe so.

It has front flippers and a serrated beak, so I'm doubting that one. Really does strike me as a gene-splicing product.

Taking into account that the original story was posted at Gawker, a Hollywood gossip site, maybe the whole thing's a fake and just a publicity stunt for the upcoming movie Splice or something similar.

Agreed, that's no dog. Look at it's feet...flippers...whatever. There much closer to a pig than anything else I can think of. It has long "fingers" that seems almost webbed together in one clump. Dogs on the other hand have paws, very small feet in comparison to that. The bottom of the mouth I can see, however the feet do not fit a dog in any way shape or form. Ya, I'd say some pig was spliced with bird DNA or something, or maybe a pig-dog with otter like feet or something. Either way it's disturbing lol.

Now that is a very likely scenario.

Yeah, Jag's probably right. It's a gene splicing experiment. Terrible looking one too.

Very possible as well, wouldn't be the first time someone sewed several animals together and posted it on the net for ****s and giggles.

Orrrrr...the government made up this movie "splice" in order to cover up the escape of this animal!!! da da, da da da daaaaaa /conspiracy
