Lawdy imagine snapping that thing in two and eating it like a sandwich.

Oh man…. what a buzz-kill…. :(

Unfortunately, however, most of us will never get to enjoy this new creation, as only 50 bars have been made, and they will be awarded to various UK residents through the brand’s UK Twitter.

Never mind…. going off to pout now. :cmad:

Willy Wonka bulls*** :argh::argh::argh:

This won't end me, it's out of my hands.
And nation.

**** that, just give me the leftmost bar. I don't want no **** in my chocolate.

That looks gross, Aziz. Fortunately tho when it comes to food I try not to judge by the looks, and will try most things at least once. What exactly is that stuff?

Corn starch, water, rose water, saffron, sugar, Halabi pistachio, a little red color, kazou, and almonds.

It moves like thick jell-o.
And it's a delight to eat in small doses.

What is that? I can get all the other ingredients, but I've never heard of kazou. Google isn't being very helpful.

Make your own batch and test it out, Marvolo, and then report back to us with your findings. :drl:

Helpful tip; the amount of water is 6 times the amount of starch.

If you only use 5 times the amount….. well….. we know what happens….

Are Cadbury chockies not available in the US?

They are and they aren't. They've been Hershey-ized. It's tough to talk about... Basically, Hershey's, the crappiest tasting chocolate brand in the world decided to ban importing Cadbury's and produce their own version of Cadbury's in the states. Which of course is vastly inferior. It's really shady business tactics by Hershey's. They're trying to monopolize the chocolate market in the states and co-opt the brand name of other chocolates, but not their quality. They're cheapening the Cadbury's brand in the states with their inferior representation of it, and simultaneously getting rich off of it in the process.

If you wanna read the whole sad story here's an article that sums it up: http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/6538052

I have to agree with Hershey's being awful. They started selling them down here a couple of months back so I tried one out, one of the blandest chocolate bars I've ever eaten. Apparently no one else was eating them either because they stop selling them soon after. I'm sorry you all can't the real Cadbury brand taste over there.

****, where I live Hershey and their candies is on every aisle in almost every store. Hershey, Pennsylvania is an honest to god tourist attraction.

I'm allergic to chocolate and haven't eaten any in 20 years so I can't remember what they taste like, but I know I used to eat their chocolate bars when I was a little kid. But my favorite chocolate was always reeses peanut butter cups and kit kats. I really really miss kit kats. And I never even got to try any of the really good chocolates made fresh at the local fudge shops.:(

Man, **** Hershey! I can't even eat the stuff but that article pissed me off!:cmad: A rich corporation shouldn't be able to tell me or any shop what sort of chocolate they can import. If it's safe to consume and isn't being sold out of a terrorist's bunker it should be importable, because last I checked this is ****ing America and we can eat whatever chocolate we want to and Hershey can just shut up and shove their ****** Hershey squirts bars right back up their rich corporate *******s.
